Milky Way Photography with Colin Chatfield

Meet at Long Creek Golf and Country Club's Clubhouse and watch famous Saskatchewan photographer, Colin Chatfield's presentation about night photography. Afterward, we will be shooting on the golf course and milky way at the Avonlea Badlands. All this for only $50/person. Bring a flashlight or headlamp, tripod, camera capable of long exposures, and warm clothing. You must be able to carry your gear 2 kilometres. There are a limited number of spots, so contact the museum to book yours today. Hope to see you there!

Join us for this informative, guided 2 kilometer hike in the spectacular Avonlea Badlands. Learn about plants, animals, dinosaurs that made this their home as well as geological formations. You enter private land with permission.

Avonlea Badlands with NPSS

Hike into the Avonlea Badlands with members of the Native Plant Society of Saskatchewan. Learn about native prairie plants from these expert botanists.
