Come to the Avonlea Community Hall for some delicious home cooking. This is our first fall supper in the new hall attached to the rink and we are excited!Stay afterward for the Halloween Cabaret to be put on by the Avonlea Volunteer Fire Dept.

Grab a hotdog at the Co-op to support the museum and fill up with gas to support the Avonlea Volunteer Fire Dept.

Vendors: Charlene Forrest - Various cinnamon buns, butterhorns, The BEST chocolate chip cookies, bacon wrapped jalapenos and stuffed potatoes; Charles Sudom - Jerky, tarts, strawberries, honeydew melons, baby potatoes; Kinley - eggs, cukes, zucchini.  Come and check out what we have in the last market day of the season.

Vendors: Charlene Forrest - Jerkey, various cinnamon buns, the BESTchocolate chip cookies, butterhorns, bacon wrapped jalapenos and taking orders for stuffed potatoes, beet pickles, regular refrigerator pickles and creamy refrigerator pickles; Kinley - Eggs, veges; Charles Sudom - Strawberries, spuds, tarts, jerky and apple rings. You never know what you’ll find at our street fair/trade show/farmers market. BBQ lunch available.  If you would like to set up a table and sell your products, let us know by the Thursday before and we will add you to the list of vendors.

Saturday, September 9, 2017 - 7:00pm

This tour follows Colin Chatfield's Night Photography Class, so you may want to attend both. After a supper break, we will meet at the museum before heading to the Avonlea Badlands to catch the sunset and then we will stay for the moonrise and get some night shots. Adults $15, Students $7.50. Bring a camera capable of long exposures, a tripod and a flashlight or headlamp (preferred). You must be able to carry your gear 2 kilometers.
