 Vendors: Charlene Reider-Forrest- Fresh smoked beef jerkey, various jams, more chokecherry syrup and jelly, cookies, butterhorns, cinnamon buns, bacon wrapped jalapenos and stuffed baked potatoes, wooden crafts; Charles Sudom- Canteloupe, watermelon, strawberry, spuds, cukes; You never know what you’ll find at our street fair/trade show/farmers market. BBQ lunch available. If you would like to set up a table and sell your products, let us know by the Thursday before and we will add you to the list of vendors.

Night Photography with Colin Chatfield

Learn about taking photographs at night with famous Saskatchewan photographer Colin Chatfield. This two hour class explains the process of night photography.  Then we hike into the Avonlea Badlands to catch the milky way from a picturesque near-dark sky location.  Please bring a camera capable of long exposures, a tripod and a flashlight or headlamp (preferred). Be prepared to carry your gear during the two hour, two kilometre hike. Only $50. Call early to sign up 306-868-2101 Spaces are limited.

Photograph this unique landscape by the light of the moon. This is a guided tour to the Avonlea Badlands in the dark. Bring a flashlight or head lamp (preferred), tripod, and camera capable of long exposures (no flash photography). You must be able to carry your gear 2 kilometres over uneven prairie.
