The Avonlea Heritage Museum’s annual general meeting is a great opportunity to get involved with the community, learn about what has been happening at the museum recently, and inquire about joining our wonderful board of volunteers. We hope to see you there!
Market Days
Every Saturday in July and August
Market Days are back. Starting July 4th, 2026 and continuing every Saturday until August 29th. Come down to the museum from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm to browse the wide variety of vendors selling produce, baking, handmade goods, plants, and so much more. Enjoy a BBQ lunch, snacks, and cold drinks sold by the museum staff and volunteers. There is something fun for everyone to do on these Summer Saturdays.
A Night at the Museum

Take a step back in time and onto the red carpet at the Grand Opening of our Movie Theatre Display! Avonlea Heritage Museum is inviting you to come and view the hard work made possible with your donations and to make an investment in the future of the museum. Alcoholic cocktails will be served. Show N' Shine
Saturday, August 8th, 2026
Back again for the 12th year, our collectable car show will be Saturday, August 8th, 2026 from 11am-4pm. Bring your cars, trucks, tractors, buggies, and anything else that rolls out for the day. Prizes for all entries, and people’s choice awards. Market vendors will be set up in the yard, along with games and other activities for the whole family. Lunch will be served by the museum volunteers along with snacks and drinks
